Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah seluas 19.88 hektar, yang dikenali sebagai Lot 22766, Mukim Pekan, Daerah Pekan yang ditandakan di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.A. 275226, yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang untuk maksud awam iaitu sebagai tapak Pelupusan Sampah, di Sungai Miang, di bawah kawalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri dan diselenggara oleh Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Pekan.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 56/1965], the State Authority has reserved a land measuring an area of 19.88 hectares, known as Lot 22766, Mukim of Pekan, District of Pekan as delineated upon Survey Plan No. P.A. 275226, deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang for public purpose to wit a site for Waste Disposal, at Sungai Miang, to be under the control of the State Secretary and maintained by the President of Pekan District Council.
