Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah seluas 7,645 meter persegi, yang dikenali sebagai Lot 16223, Mukim Kuala Pahang, Daerah Pekan yang ditandakan di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.A. 287655, yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang untuk maksud awam iaitu sebagai Tapak Rekreasi Awam, di Kampung Tanjung Selangor, di bawah kawalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri dan diselenggarakan oleh Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Pekan.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 56/1965], the State Authority has reserved a land measuring an area of 7,645 square metres, known as Lot 16223, Mukim of Kuala Pahang, District of Pekan as delineated upon Survey Plan No. P.A. 287655, deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang for a public purpose to wit a site for Public Recreation, at Kampung Tanjung Selangor, to be under the control of the State Secretary and maintained by the President of Pekan District Council.
