P.U. 17 bertarikh 7 Jun 1984, Menteri Besar Selangor mengisytiharkan tanah yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan ditandakan dengan garisan dalam Pelan Akui yang disimpan di pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Selangor adalah dirizabkan bagi maksud awam iaitu untuk tujuan Dewan Serbaguna dan dikawal oleh Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Selangor dan diselenggara oleh Majlis Perbandaran Selayang. Opening note

In exercise of the powers under subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code 1965 [Act 56/1965], conferred upon the State Authority and delegated to the Menteri Besar of Selangor by the Ruler in Council vide Sel. P.U. 17 dated 17 June 1984, the Menteri Besar of Selangor proclaims that the parcel of land described in the Schedule and delineated upon Certified Plan deposited in the office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Selangor, is reserved for public purpose to wit, a site for Multipurpose Hall and controlled by the State Secretary of Selangor and to be maintained by the Selayang Municipal Council. jadual/schedule Daerah/District—Gombak.
