PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 29O Akta Lembaga Pelabuhan 1963 [Akta 488], Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor, dengan kelulusan Menteri, membuat undang-undang kecil yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

Undang-undang kecil ini bolehlah dinamakan Undang-Undang Kecil

Lembaga Pelabuhan Johor (Pemaliman) (Pindaan) 2019.

(2)

Undang-Undang Kecil ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 November 2019.

Kecil ini, dipinda dalam undang-undang kecil 1—

(a)

dalam teks bahasa kebangsaan, dengan menggantikan takrif “pelabuhan”

dengan takrif yang berikut:

‘ “Pelabuhan” ertinya Pelabuhan Pasir Gudang’; dan 3

(b)

dalam teks bahasa Inggeris, dengan menggantikan takrif “part”

dengan takrif yang berikut:

JOHOR PORT AUTHORITY (PILOTAGE) (AMENDMENT) BY-LAWS 2019

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 29O of the Port Authorities Act 1963 [Act 488], the Johor Port Authority, with the approval of the Minister, makes the following by-laws: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These by-laws may be cited as the Johor Port Authority (Pilotage)

(Amendment) By-Laws 2019.

(2)

These By-laws come into operation on 1 November 2019.

Amendment of by-law 1 2.

The Johor Port Authority (Pilotage) By-Laws 1991 [P.U. (A) 324/ 1991], which are referred to as the “principal By-Laws” in these By-Laws, are amended in by-law 1—

(a)

by inserting after the words “Johor Port Authority” the words

“(Pasir Gudang Port)”; and

(b)

in the English language text, by substituting for the words

“Port of Pasir Gudang” the words “Pasir Gudang Port”.

Amendment of by-law 2 3.

By-law 2 of the principal By-Laws is amended—

(a)

in the national language text, by substituting for the definition of

“pelabuhan” the following definition:

‘ “Pelabuhan” ertinya Pelabuhan Pasir Gudang’; and

(b)

in the English language text, by substituting for the definition of “part”

the following definition:

‘ “Port” means the Pasir Gudang Port’.

Amendment of by-law 5 4.

By-law 5 of the principal By-Laws is amended by substituting for the word “port”

wherever appearing the word “Port”.
