Butiran 27 Jadual Pertama kepada Ordinan adalah dipinda dengan menggantikan subbutiran (a) dengan subbutiran baru (a) yang berikut:
" (a) Being the only or principal or primary security (other than an equitable mortgage or an assignment of receivables of the kind mentioned in paragraph (d)) for the payment or repayment of money
(i)
where section 5A applies— For an amount not exceeding $250,000 of the aggregate loans in a calendar year ...
$1.00 for every $1,000 or fractional thereof
For each additional $1,000 or part thereof ... ...
$5.00
(ii)
where the loan is a foreign currency loan ... ...
$2.50 for every $500 or part thereof but the total duty payable shall not exceed $500
(iii)
in any other case— For each $500 or part thereof
$2.50".
