Akta Bahan-Bahan Kakisan dan Letupan dan Senjata Berbahaya 1958 [Akta 357], yang disebut “Akta ibu” dalam Akta ini, dipinda dalam subseksyen 6(1) dengan menggantikan perkataan “not exceeding two years” dengan perkataan “of not less than five years and not more than ten years”.

Akta ibu dipinda dalam subseksyen 7(1) dengan menggantikan perkataan “not exceeding two years, or to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or both, and in the case of a second and subsequent offence to imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than three years” dengan perkataan “of not less than five years and not more than ten years”.
