Savings 15.
(1)
Any motor vehicle which has been fitted with a seat-belt in accordance with the principal Rules before the coming into operation of these Rules shall, on the date of the coming into operation of these Rules, be deemed to have complied with the specifications specified in the Schedule to the principal Rules as amended by these Rules.
(2)
Any child restraint system which has been fitted in a motor vehicle immediately before the date of coming into operation of these Rules which does not comply with the specifications specified in the Schedule to these Rules shall, on the date of coming into operation of these Rules, be deemed to have complied with the specifications specified in the Schedule to the principal Rules as amended by these Rules.
(3)
Any investigation, prosecution or proceedings in respect of any offence under the principal Rules which is pending under the principal Rules may, on the date of coming into operation of these Rules, be continued as if the principal Rules had not been amended by these Rules.
