PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 25 Akta Pencetakan Teks Al-Qur’an 1986 [Akta 326], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

(1)

Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan

Pencetakan Teks Al-Qur’an (Pindaan) 2017.

(2)

Peraturan-Peraturan ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 25 Januari 2017.

Seksyen 2

Peraturan-Peraturan Pencetakan Teks Al-Qur’an 1986 [P.U. (A) 488/1986], yang disebut “Peraturan-Peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam peraturan 3—

(a)

dalam subperaturan (3)—

(i)

dengan menggantikan perkataan “RM300.00” dengan perkataan

“RM1500.00”; dan

(ii)

dengan menggantikan perkataan “dan suatu sijil di bawah seksyen 6(1) Akta hendaklah dikeluarkan” dengan perkataan

“teks Al-Qur’an itu”;

(b)

dengan menggantikan subperaturan (4) dengan subperaturan yang berikut:

“(4)

Jika Lembaga telah memperakui bahawa Ayat-Ayat

Al-Qur’an yang terkandung dalam pruf akhir atau salinan asal itu

betul, sama ada sebagaimana yang dikemukakan pada asalnya atau sebagaimana yang dibetulkan oleh Lembaga, suatu perakuan di bawah subseksyen 6(1) Akta boleh dikeluarkan oleh Lembaga dalam Borang C dalam Jadual.”;

(c)

dalam teks bahasa kebangsaan, dalam subperaturan (5), dengan menggantikan perkataan “sijil” dengan perkataan “perakuan”; dan

(d)

dalam subperaturan (6), dengan menggantikan perkataan “RM1.00”

dengan perkataan “RM0.50”.

PRINTING OF QUR’ANIC TEXTS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2017

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 25 of the Printing of Qur’anic Texts Act 1986 [Act 326], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Printing of Qur’anic Texts

(Amendment) Regulations 2017.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 25 January 2017.

Amendment of regulation 3 2.

The Printing of Qur’anic Texts Regulations 1986 [P.U. (A) 488/1986], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 3—

(a)

in subregulation (3)—

(i)

by substituting for the words

“RM300.00”

the words

“RM1500.00”; and

(ii)

by substituting for the words “and a certificate under section 6(1)

of the Act may be issued” the words “of the Qur’anic text”;

(b)

by substituting for subregulation (4) the following subregulation:

“(4)

If the Lembaga has certified that the Qur’anic Verses contained in the final proof or original copy are correct, whether as originally submitted or as corrected by the Lembaga, a certificate under subsection 6(1) of the Act may be issued by the Lembaga in

Form C in the Schedule.”;

(c)

in the national language text, in subregulation (5), by substituting for the word “sijil” the word “perakuan”; and

(d)

in subregulation (6), by substituting for the words “RM1.00” the words

“RM0.50”.

Amendment of regulation 4 3.

Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is amended—

(a)

in the national language text, in subregulation (8), by substituting for the word “sijil” the word “perakuan”; and

(b)

in subregulation (9), by substituting for the words “RM1.00” the words

“RM0.50”.
