(AMENDMENT) ORDER 2024
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Perak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Coast Expressway
(Taiping-Banting)) (Amendment) Order 2024.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 11 March 2024.
Amendment of paragraph 2 2.
The Federal Roads (West Coast Expressway (Taiping-Banting)) Order 2019
[P.U. (A) 150/2019], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in subparagraph 2(1)—
(a)
in subsubparagraph (d), by substituting for the full stop at the end of the subsubparagraph the words “; and”; and
(b)
by inserting after subsubparagraph (d) the following subsubparagraph:
“ (e)
the part of the road known as the West Coast Expressway
(Taiping–Banting)
commencing from kilometre 241.63
at coordinates N 498349.253, E 311975.628 of the RSO Geocentric
(GDM 2000) Grid and ending at kilometre 277.67 at coordinates
N 529394.338, E 303568.131 RSO Geocentric (GDM 2000) Grid
(both distances measured from kilometre 0.0 of the West Coast
Expressway (Taiping-Banting) at the Banting Interchange)
including

Toll
Plaza,
