Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 (2) of the Medical Act 1971, the Minister, after consulting the Malaysian Medical Council, makes the following order:

Seksyen 1

This Order may be cited as the Medical (Amendment of Second Schedule) (No. 3) Order 1986.

Seksyen 2

The Second Schedule to the Medical Act 1971 is amended—

(a)

by inserting immediately below the institution "Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia" and the related qualification appearing under the country "Malaysia" the following institution and related qualification:

"Universiti Sains Malaysia Doctor of Medicine"; and

(b)

by inserting immediately below the institution "University of Tasmania" and the related qualification appearing under the country "Australia" the following institution and related qualification:

"Flinders University of South Australia

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery".

Made the 21st May 1986.
