PERINTAH WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN (PENGUBAHSUAIAN ORDINAN HARI KELEPASAN) 1974

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Wilayah Persekutuan (Pengubahsuaian Ordinan Hari Kelepasan), 1974, dan hendaklah disifatkan sebagai telah mula berkuatkuasa pada 1hb Februari, 1974.

Gantikan perkataan-perkataan "any State, after consultation with the Ruler or Governor" dan "any State in respect of which it has been made" yang terdapat di dalam seksyen-kecil (1) dengan perkataan-perkataan "the Federal Territory".

Potong perkataan-perkataan "the Ruler or Governor after consultation in either case with" yang terdapat di dalam seksyen-kecil (2).

Gantikan perkataan-perkataan "any State in respect of which it has been made" yang terdapat di dalam seksyen-kecil (2) dengan perkataan-perkataan "the Federal Territory".

CONSTITUTION (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ACT, 1973

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 6 (4) of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1973, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong hereby makes the following order:

1. This order may be cited as the Federal Territory (Modification of Holidays Ordinance) Order, 1974, and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of February, 1974.

2. (1) The modifications specified in the Schedule, being modifications which appear to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing difficulties or in consequence of the passing of the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1973 shall be made in the provisions of the Holidays Ordinance, 1951.

References to "any State" shall be construed as references to "the Federal Territory".

References to "Ruler or Governor, as the case may be" shall be construed as references to "Minister charged with the responsibility for public and bank holidays".

References to "State Public Holiday" shall be construed as references to "Federal Territory Public Holiday".

Substitute for the words "any such State, as the case may be", "such State" and "a State" the words "the Federal Territory".

10A ... Substitute for the words "any State, after consultation with the Ruler or Governor" and "any State in respect of which it has been made" appearing in subsection (1) the words "the Federal Territory".

Delete the words "the Ruler or Governor after consultation in either case with" appearing in subsection (2).

Substitute for the words "any State in respect of which it has been made" appearing in subsection (2) the words "the Federal Territory".

References to "a State" in subsection (4) shall be construed as references to "the Federal Territory".
