Opening note

Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 54 Akta Bekalan Elektrik 1990 [Akta 447], Menteri, atas syor Suruhanjaya, mengecualikan kelas pepasangan yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual, yang digunakan untuk membekalkan elektrik kepada atau bagi kegunaan mana-mana orang lain bagi maksud sistem pengecasan kenderaan elektrik daripada dilesenkan di bawah seksyen 9 Akta tertakluk pada syarat bahawa mana-mana orang yang membekalkan elektrik daripada kelas pepasangan itu hendaklah mematuhi apa-apa arahan atau garis panduan berhubung dengan kelas pepasangan itu yang dikeluarkan oleh Suruhanjaya dari semasa ke semasa.

Jadual

JADUAL

Kelas pepasangan—

(a)

melalui gear suis pada kadar atau kurang daripada 100

ampere bagi sistem bekalan voltan rendah; dan

(b)

yang telah dilevikan oleh pemegang lesen dengan tarif komersial atau tarif domestik yang diluluskan di bawah seksyen 26 Akta.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY ACT 1990

NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 54

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Electricity Supply Act 1990

[Act 447], the

Minister, upon the recommendation of the

Commission, exempts the class of installation specified in the Schedule, which is used to supply electricity to or for the use of any other person for the purposes of the electric vehicle charging system from being licensed under section 9 of the Act subject to the condition that any person who supplies electricity from such class of installation shall comply with any direction or guideline in relation to such class of installation issued by the Commission from time to time.

Jadual

The class of installation—

(a)

through a switchgear at a rate of 100 ampere or below for the low voltage supply system; and

(b)

which has been levied by a licensee with the approved commercial tariff or domestic tariff under section 26 of the Act.
