The Antiquities and Treasure Trove Enactment, 1977 is amended –

(1)

in section 3(1)(c), by substituting for the words "or the President of the district"

the words "of the District or the President of the Municipality";

(2)

in section 5 –

(a)

by substituting for the words "or the President of the District" in line 5 of subsection (1) the words "of the District or the President of the

Municipality"; and

(b)

by substituting for the words "or the President of the District" in subsection

(2)

the words "of the District or the President of the Municipality";

(3)

in section 23 –

(a)

by substituting for the words "or the President of the District" in line 5 of subsection (1) the words "of the District or the President of the

Municipality"; and

(b)

by inserting the words "or Municipality" immediately after the words "in his

District" in line 2 of subsection (6); and

(4)

in section 39, by deleting the words "in any District".
