(1)
The Director may by a written notice to the licensee, suspend a licence if –
(a)
any of the conditions imposed in the licence has not been complied with;
or

(b)
the Director has reason to believe that the suspension is desirable in order to reduce the risk of any disease spreading among aquatic life, or to prevent or to reduce the risk of damage caused to the environment.
(2)
A suspension under subsection (1) shall be for a specified period.
(3)
The Director may lift the suspension if the Director is satisfied that the condition in subsection (1) (a) has been complied with or the risk referred to in subsection (1) (b) has been abated.
