Section 61

of Sabah Inland Fisheries And Aquaculture Enactment 2003

Section 61

The Director or any authorised officer may –

(a)

take any such measures to counteract, mitigate or remedy any adverse effects on fish or fish habitat from the discharging or placing of the deleterious substance in riverine waters; or

(b)

direct the owner, or the person in charge or who manages or in control, of the deleterious substance to take such measures to counteract, mitigate or remedy any adverse effect on fish or fish habitat from the discharging or placing of the deleterious substance in riverine waters.

Cost incurred by the Government.
