Section 62

Any cost incurred by the Government to mitigate or remedy riverine waters as a result of the discharge or placing of deleterious substance in riverine waters shall be recovered from the owner, or person in charge or who manages or in control of the deleterious substance and it shall be a debt due to the Government.
