AKTA KAWALAN BEKALAN (PINDAAN) 2015

Akta ini mula berkuat kuasa pada tarikh yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri melalui pemberitahuan dalam Warta.

Pindaan seksyen 6

dalam subseksyen (4), dengan menggantikan perkataan

“or other person authorized by the said subsection to carry out the search and” dengan perkataan “, the supplies officer or the police officer not below the rank of Inspector and”; dan

dengan memasukkan selepas subseksyen (4) subseksyen yang berikut:

“(5)  Any vehicle, vessel or other article, by means of which an offence has been committed under this section or which is intended to be used for the commission of the offence, may be removed by the Controller, the supplies officer or the police officer not below the rank of Inspector and, if not claimed within one month of the removal, may be sold or disposed of by the Controller as he thinks fit, and the proceeds of such sale, if any, shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund.”.

Pindaan seksyen 22

dalam subseksyen (1)—

dengan menggantikan perkataan “one hundred thousand” dengan perkataan “one million”; dan

dalam subseksyen (2)—

dengan menggantikan perkataan “two hundred and fifty thousand” dengan perkataan “two million”;

dan

dalam subseksyen (1)—

dengan menggantikan perenggan (a) dengan perenggan yang berikut:

“(a) any controlled article, in respect of which the offence has been committed, which has been seized by or has otherwise come into the possession of the Controller or any person acting under his authority;”;

dan

dalam subseksyen (2), dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “proceeds of sale,” perkataan “property of the accused,”.
