Opening note
This Act may be cited as the East Coast Economic Region
Development Council (Amendment) Act 2022.
This Act comes into operation on such date as the Prime Minister may, after consultation with the State Authorities of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Johor, appoint by notification in the Gazette.
Amendment of section 4
The East Coast Economic Region Development Council
Act 2008 [Act 688] is amended in section 4 by substituting for the words “District of Mersing” the words “Districts of Mersing and Segamat”.
