Seksyen 9A
(1)
A motor vehicle shall not be constructed unless—
(a)
prior approval has been obtained from the
Director General of its particular, type, design and suitability to be used as a vehicle;
(b)
the body of the motor vehicle is made in accordance with the plan and elevation general arrangement drawings which have been approved by the Director General;
(c)
conform to the specifications as specified in the Third Schedule; or

Requirements for electric motor vehicle
(d)
in accordance with any other requirement as the Director General may determine, as the case may be.
(2)
A motor vehicle referred to in subrule (1) shall include an electric motor vehicle.
