PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 66 Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 [Akta 333], Menteri membuat kaedah-kaedah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Kaedah-kaedah ini bolehlah dinamakan Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan

Motor (Pembinaan dan Penggunaan) (Pindaan) 2013.

Kaedah-Kaedah ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Januari 2015.

MOTOR VEHICLES (CONSTRUCTION AND USE) (AMENDMENT) RULES 2013

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following rules: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use)

(Amendment) Rules 2013.

(2)

These Rules come into operation on 1 January 2015.

Amendment of Third Schedule 2.

The Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) Rules 1959 [L.N. 170/1959] are amended in the Third Schedule—

(a)

by inserting after paragraph 1 the following paragraph:

“1A.

UN ECE Regulation 4 Uniform Provisions Concerning the Approval of Devices for the Illumination of Rear Registration Plates of Motor

Vehicles (Except Motorcycles) and Their Trailers;”;

(b)

by inserting after paragraph 3 the following paragraphs:
