KAEDAH-KAEDAH KENDERAAN MOTOR (PENGECUALIAN) (NO. 2) 2021

Menteri mengecualikan orang yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual daripada pemakaian peruntukan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) tertakluk kepada syarat bahawa orang yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual hendaklah memohon untuk memperbaharui lesen kenderaan motornya atau lesen memandunya, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, dalam masa enam puluh hari selepas Kaedah-Kaedah ini terhenti berkuat kuasa.

ROAD TRANSPORT ACT 1987

MOTOR VEHICLES (EXEMPTION) (NO. 2) RULES 2021

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 66(1)(x) and 127(1)(b) of the

Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following rules:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Exemption) (No. 2)

Rules 2021.

(2)

These Rules have effect for the period from 1 April 2021 to 31 May 2021.

Exemption 2.

The Minister exempts persons specified in column (1) of the Schedule from the application of the provisions specified in column (2) subject to the condition that the persons specified in column (1) of the Schedule shall apply to renew his motor vehicle licence or driving licence, as the case may be, within sixty days upon these Rules ceasing to have effect.

Non-application 3.

Rule 2 shall not apply in respect of—

(a)

any holder of a motor vehicle licence for any goods vehicle, public service vehicle, tourism vehicle or employees vehicle; and

(b)

any holder of a vocational licence.
