Mana-mana orang yang lesen kenderaan motornya, lesen memandunya atau lesen vokasionalnya telah tamat tempoh dan dikecualikan daripada pemakaian peruntukan yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kaedah-Kaedah yang dibatalkan bagi tempoh dari 18 Mac 2020 hingga 31 Ogos 2020 hendaklah, pada tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa

Kaedah-Kaedah ini, memohon untuk memperbaharui lesen kenderaan motornya, lesen memandunya atau lesen vokasionalnya, mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, dalam masa tiga puluh hari dari 1 September 2020.

MOTOR VEHICLES (EXEMPTION) (REVOCATION) RULES 2020

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 66(1)(x) and 127(1)(b) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following rules: Citation and commencement 1.

These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Exemption)

(Revocation) Rules 2020.

These Rules come into operation on 1 September 2020.

Revocation 2.

The Motor Vehicles (Exemption) Rules 2020 [P.U. (A) 97/ 2020] which is referred to as the “revoked Rules” in these Rules is revoked.

Transitional 3.

Any person whose motor vehicle licence, driving licence or vocational licence has expired and is exempted from the application of the provisions specified in the Schedule of the revoked Rules for the period from 18 March 2020 to 31 August 2020 shall, on the date of coming into operation of these Rules, apply to renew his motor vehicle licence, driving licence or vocational licence, as the case may be, within thirty days from 1 September 2020.
