Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 92 of the Syarie Legal Profession (Federal Territories) Act 2019 [Act 814], the Minister makes the following rules: Citation 1. These rules may be cited as the Syarie Legal Profession (Federal Territories) (Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2023. Amendment of rule 1 2. The Syarie Legal Profession (Federal Territories) (Fee) Rules 2023 [P.U. (A) 30/2023], which are referred to as “the principal Rules” in these Rules, are amended in rule 1—

(a)

in the English text, in subrule (1), by substituting for the word “Fee”

the word “Fees”; and

(b)

in subrule (2), by substituting for the words “31 December 2023”

the words “31 December 2024”.

Amendment of rule 2 3.

Paragraph 2(c) of the principal Rules is amended by inserting after the word “2023” the words “and 2024”.
