NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR
PUBLIC PURPOSE
WHEREAS, by Notification No. 2879/1937 published in the Government Gazette of the
Federated Malay State on 11 June 1937, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 24(i) of the Land Code (Cap. 138), the Resident of Selangor has proclaimed that the parcel of land situated in the mukim of Kuala Lumpur, described in the Schedule hereto, and delineated upon revenue survey plan No. 18,988, deposited in the office of the Superintendent of Revenue Surveys, Selangor and Negri Sembilan, to be a reserve for the purpose of interment of the dead of the Borah Muslim community, to be maintained by Messrs. Tyebally Kaderbhoy, R. H. Dawoodbhoy, Abasbhoy, Haji Daudbhoy and
G. M. Esmailjee or such other persons as the District Officer, from time to time, appoints:
AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the
Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code to the
Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur:
AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the
Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:
NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 64(1) of the
National Land Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it, gives notice under subsection 64(2) of the National Land Code of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule and that any person who desires to object against such revocation will be heard by the Land Administrator of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur at an enquiry to be held at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Floors, Federal House, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala
Lumpur from 9.00 a.m until 4.00 p.m on 4 April 2017.
