NATIONAL LAND CODE
NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE
WHEREAS, by the Reservation of Land for Public Purpose [P.U. (B) 616/1993]
published in the Gazette of the Federation on 23 December 1993, the Land Executive
Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur has reserved the Federal Land described in the
Schedule for a public purpose of a site for the
Sri Mahaliaman Hindu Temple and has designated that the Commissioner of the City of Kuala Lumpur shall have control of the reserved land:
AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the
Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked under section 64 of the National Land Code [Act 828]:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 64(2) of the
National Land Code, as modified by the Federal Territory (Modification of
National Land Code) Order, 1974 [P.U. (A) 56/1974] and delegated by the
Government of the Federation by the Delegation of Powers under Section 13
[P.U. (B) 108/2003], the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur gives notice of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule and an enquiry by the Director of Lands and
Mines of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur in relation to the proposed revocation will be held at the Office of the Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, 2nd Floor, Federal House, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur from 9.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. on 17 May 2022 and any person who desires to object against the proposed revocation may attend the enquiry.
