Preamble

BAHAWASANYA, melalui P.U. (B) 162/2005 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan pada 5 Mei 2005, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan kepada Kerajaan Persekutuan oleh subseksyen 28(1) Ordinan Tanah Sabah [Sabah Bab 68] sebagaimana yang diubahsuaikan oleh Perintah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan (Pengubahsuaian Ordinan Tanah) 1984 [P.U. (A) 291/1984], Menteri yang bertanggungjawab bagi perkara-perkara yang berhubungan dengan tanah di Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan telah merizabkan tanah yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual bagi maksud awam, iaitu suatu tapak untuk landskap dan taman rekreasi awam dan telah menetapkan bahawa Perbadanan Labuan hendaklah mempunyai kawalan terhadap tanah rizab itu: DAN BAHAWASANYA, melalui P.U. (B) 242/2010 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan pada 10 Mei 2010, Kerajaan Persekutuan telah mewakilkan penjalanan kuasanya di bawah seksyen 64 Kanun Tanah Negara kepada Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan: DAN BAHAWASANNYA, didapati suai manfaat sekarang oleh Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan supaya keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu dibatalkan: MAKA OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN, Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 64(1) Kanun Tanah Negara yang diberikan kepada Kerajaan Persekutuan dan diwakilkan kepadanya, memberikan notis di bawah subseksyen 64(2) Kanun Tanah Negara mengenai cadangan untuk membatalkan keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu sebagaimana yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan bahawa mana-mana orang yang berhasrat untuk membantah terhadap pembatalan itu akan didengar oleh Pendaftar Hakmilik Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan dalam suatu siasatan yang akan diadakan di Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan, Tingkat 1, E003, P.U. (B) 59 3 Podium Level, Peti Surat 80693, Jalan Merdeka, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan pada pukul 2.30 petang hingga 5.00 petang pada 25 Februari 2016.

NATIONAL LAND CODE

NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR PUBLIC

PURPOSE

WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 162/2005 published in the Gazette of the Government of the

Federation on 5 May 2005, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Government of the Federation by subsection 28(1) of the Land Ordinance Sabah [Sabah Cap. 68]

as modified by the Federal Territory of Labuan (Modification of Land Ordinance)

Order 1984 [P.U. (A) 291/1984], the Minister responsible for matters relating to land in the Federal Territory of Labuan has reserved the land described in the Schedule for a public purpose, to wit a site for landscape and public recreation ground and has designated that Perbadanan Labuan shall have control of that reserved land:

AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 242/2010 published in the Gazette of the

Government of the Federation on 10 May 2010, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code to the

Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Labuan:

AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Labuan that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:

NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of

Labuan, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 64(1) of the National Land

Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it, gives notice under subsection 64(2) of the National Land Code of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule and that any person who desires to object against such revocation will be heard by the Registrar of Title of the

Federal Territory of Labuan at an enquiry to be held at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of Labuan, 1st Floor, E003, Podium Level,

P.O Box 80693, Jalan Merdeka, Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan at 2.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

on 25 February 2016.
