NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS TO THE MALAYSIAN OPTICAL COUNCIL

PURSUANT to regulation 8 of the Optical Regulations 1994 [P.U. (A) 210/1994], notice is given of the following nominations to the Malaysian Optical Council:

The persons named in column (1) of the Schedule are the candidates for the vacant offices appearing against their names in column (2).

(2)

The persons named in column (3) and column (4) are the proposers and seconders of the candidates.

Vacant offices 2.

The offices which are vacant and in respect of which elections are to be held are for—

(a)

two registered optometrists residing in Malaysia; and

(b)

two registered opticians residing in Malaysia.

Objections 3.

Objections may be made against any candidate and objections made after 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 4 December 2013 shall not be accepted.
