IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 10(2) and section 13 of the Administration of Islamic Law (Federal Territories) Act 1993 [Act 505], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Minister, has appointed Mejar Jeneral (B) Dato’ Seri Jamil Khir bin Haji Baharom as the Chairman of the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan whose term of appointment is from 1 February 2018 to 28 November 2018.
