BAHAWASANYA, melalui Pemberitahuan No. 8250/1923 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Negeri-Negeri Melayu Bersekutu pada 14 Disember 1923, pada menjalankan kuasa yang terletak hak padanya oleh seksyen 9 Enakmen Tanah 1911, Residen Selangor telah mengisytiharkan bahawa petak tanah yang terletak di Mukim Setapak, yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan ditandakan di atas pelan ukur hasil No. 15,334 yang disimpan di Pejabat Penguasa Ukur Hasil Selangor, menjadi suatu rizab bagi maksud tapak kawasan pembakaran mayat bagi kaum India Selatan dan Ceylon yang disenggarakan oleh V. Suppiah dan V. K. Chinniah atau mana-mana pengganti yang hendaklah dilantik oleh Residen sebagai pemegang amanah bagi orang India Selatan dan masyarakat Ceylon: DAN BAHAWASANYA, melalui P.U. BAHAWASANYA, notis mengenai cadangan untuk membatalkan keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual bersama dengan butir-butir mengenai masa dan tempat di mana suatu siasatan akan diadakan oleh Pentadbir Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur di Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, untuk mendengar mana-mana orang yang berhasrat untuk membantah terhadap pembatalan itu telah ditampalkan mengikut peruntukan seksyen 433 Kanun Tanah Negara dan juga telah P.U. (B) 314 3 disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan sebagai P.U. NATIONAL LAND CODE

REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE

WHEREAS, by Notification No. 8250/1923 published in the Government Gazette of the

Federated Malay State on 14 December 1923, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 9 of the Land Enactment 1911, the Resident of Selangor has proclaimed that the parcel of land situated in the Mukim of Setapak, described in the Schedule and delineated upon revenue survey plan No. 15,334 deposited in the office of the Superintendent of

Revenue Surveys Selangor, to be a reserve for the purpose of a cremation ground for

South Indians and Ceylonese to be maintained by V. Suppiah and V. K. Chinniah or such successors as the Resident shall appoint as trustees for the Southern Indians and

Ceylonese community:

AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the

Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code

[Act 56/1965] to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur:

AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the

Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:

AND WHEREAS, notice of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule together with details of the time and place at which an enquiry would be held by the Land Administrator of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur, to hear any person desiring to object to such revocation was affixed in accordance with section 433 of the National Land Code and was also published in the

Gazette of the Government of the Federation as P.U. (B) 67/2016 on 18 February 2016:

AND WHEREAS, no objection to the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule was received:

NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers under section 64 of the National Land Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it as aforesaid, revokes the reservation of the land described in the Schedule:
