NATIONAL LAND CODE
REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE
WHEREAS, by Notification No. 924/1953 published in the Selangor Gazette on 3 December 1953, the British Resident, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the
Ruler in Council by section 24(i) of the Land Code 1926 [No. 24/1926], and delegated to him vide Selangor Government Gazette P.W. Sel. 188/1952, the Menteri Besar, Selangor, had proclaimed that the parcel of land being Lot No. 239 situated in the section 72 Town of Kuala Lumpur, having an area of 2 roods 05.3 poles delineated upon revenue survey plan No. 20,825 which is now deposited in the Office of the Superintendent of Revenue
Surveys, Selangor, to be a reserve for public purpose, to wit, a site for Women’s
Institutes maintained by the Association of Women’s Institutes of Malaya:
AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the
Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code
[Act 56/1965] to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala
Lumpur:
AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:
AND WHEREAS, notice of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule together with details of the time and place at which an enquiry would be held by the Land Administrator of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, to hear any person desiring to object to such revocation was affixed in accordance with provisions of section 433 of the National Land Code and was also published in the Gazette of the Government of the Federation as P.U. (B) 605/2011 on 21 December 2011:

AND WHEREAS, no objection to the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule was received:
NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of
Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers under section 64 of the National Land Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it as aforesaid, revokes the reservation of the land described in the Schedule.
