NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts—

(a)

the Director of EN Projects (M) Sdn. Bhd. from the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of display at the “Langkawi International

Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition 2017 (LIMA 2017)” provided that there is an arms license in force in respect of those arms and ammunition granted to the Director of EN Projects (M) Sdn. Bhd.; and

(b)

the Director of EN Projects (M) Sdn. Bhd. from the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of display at the “Langkawi International

Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition 2017 (LIMA 2017)”.

Seksyen 2

This Notification shall have effect for a period of five weeks from 6 March 2017

to 9 April 2017.
