Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the United States of America Military Special Force from the application—

(a)

of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of training for the “Vector Balance Mint-17 Force

Protection Training Exercise by the Special Action Unit, Royal Malaysia

Police - United States of America Military Special Force (Charlie Company

First Battalion)”; and

(b)

of paragraphs 5(1) (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of training for the

“Vector Balance Mint-17 Force Protection Training Exercise by the

Special Action Unit, Royal Malaysia Police - United States of America

Military Special Force (Charlie Company First Battalion)”.
