Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 6A(2) Akta Perancangan Bandar dan Desa 1976 [Akta 172], Majlis Perancang Fizikal Negara, selepas berunding dengan Pihak Berkuasa Negeri Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perak dan Perlis, telah menubuhkan suatu jawatankuasa perancang wilayah pada 21 Oktober 2021 bagi suatu wilayah yang terdiri daripada suatu kawasan yang terletak dalam Negeri Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perak dan Perlis.

Sempadan wilayah yang baginya jawatankuasa perancang wilayah itu ditubuhkan terdiri daripada suatu kawasan dengan tanda yang dengannya wilayah ini boleh dikenal pasti sebagaimana yang ditunjukkan dalam peta dalam Jadual.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1976

NOTIFICATION UNDER SUBSECTION 6A(2)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 6A(2)

of the

Town and Country Planning Act 1976 [Act 172], the National Physical Planning Council, after consultation with the State Authorities of Penang, Kedah, Perak and Perlis, has established a regional planning committee on 21 October 2021 for a region which consists of an area situated in the States of Penang, Kedah, Perak and Perlis.

The boundary of the region for which the regional planning committee is established consists of an area with the marking by which it may be identified as shown on the map in the Schedule.
