Opening note

Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 77(2) Akta Mahkamah Rendah 1948 [Akta 92], Yang di-Pertuan Agong meminda Jadual Keempat Akta seperti yang berikut:

(a)

dalam tajuk “EX OFFICIO FIRST CLASS MAGISTRATES”, dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “Sessions Court Judges”, perkataan yang berikut:

“Registrar of the Subordinate Courts in Malaya.

Registrar of the Subordinate Courts in Sabah and Sarawak.

Deputy Registrars of the Subordinate Court.

Senior Assistant Registrars of the Subordinate Court.”; dan

(b)

dalam tajuk “EX OFFICIO SECOND CLASS MAGISTRATES”, dengan menggantikan perkataan “Senior Registrars and Registrars of the

Subordinate Courts” dengan perkataan “Assistant Registrars of the

Subordinate Courts”.

Pemberitahuan ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Mac 2013.

SUBORDINATE COURTS ACT 1948

NOTIFICATION UNDER SUBSECTION 77(2)

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 77(2) of the Subordinate Courts Act 1948 [Act 92], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong amends the Fourth Schedule of the Act as follows:

(a)

in the title of “EX OFFICIO FIRST CLASS MAGISTRATES”, by inserting after the words “Sessions Court Judges”, the following words:

“Registrar of the Subordinate Courts in Malaya.

Registrar of the Subordinate Courts in Sabah and Sarawak.

Deputy Registrars of the Subordinate Courts.

Senior Assistant Registrars of the Subordinate Courts.”; and

(b)

in the title of “EX OFFICIO SECOND CLASS MAGISTRATES”, by substituting for the words “Senior Registrars and Registrars of the Subordinate

Courts” the words “Assistant Registrars of the Subordinate Courts”.

This Notification comes into operation on 1 March 2013.
