APPOINTMENT OF DATE OF COMING INTO OPERATION

Opening note

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 1(2) of the Tourism Tax Act 2017 [Act 791], the Minister appoints—

1 August 2017 as the date on which Parts I, II, IV and X, and sections 8

and 9 of the Act come into operation; and

1 September 2017 as the date on which Parts V, VI, VII, VIII and IX, and sections 6 and 7 of the Act come into operation.
