- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the Marines Special Troops of the United States of America from the application of paragraphs 5(1)(a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the Malaysia – United States of America, Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Exercise Force Protection for the period from 10 August 2015 to 30 August 2015.
