Peraturan-Peraturan Bantuan Guaman (Kriteria dan Ujian Kemampuan) 2017
[P.U. (A) 370/2017], yang disebut “Peraturan-Peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam peraturan 4—
(a)
dalam subperaturan (3), dalam teks bahasa kebangsaan, dengan menggantikan perkataan “hendakllah” dengan perkataan “hendaklah”;
dan
(b)
dengan menggantikan subperaturan (4) dengan subperaturan yang berikut:
“(4)
Penilaian ujian kemampuan bagi orang itu ditentukan mengikut kategori yang berikut:
(b)
sumber kewangan tahunan yang berjumlah RM50,001
hingga RM55,000;

dan ke atas.”.

Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 32(1) of the Legal Aid Act 1971 [Act 26], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid (Criteria and Means Test)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 1 May 2023.
Amendment of regulation 4 2.
The Legal Aid (Criteria and Means Test) Regulations 2017 [P.U. (A) 370/2017], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in regulation 4—
(a)
in subregulation (3), in the Malay language text, by substituting for the word “hendakllah” the word “hendaklah”; and
(b)
by substituting for subregulation (4) the following subregulation:
“(4)
The means test assessment for a person is determined according to the following categories:
(c)
the yearly financial resources amounting to RM55,001 to
RM60,000;

the yearly financial resources amounting to RM70,001
and above.”.
