- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh perenggan 162(2)(f) Akta Cap Dagangan 2019 [Akta 815], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Fi yang dikenakan kepada mana-mana individu, perkongsian, persatuan, pertubuhan perbadanan atau institusi di bawah perenggan 1 Jadual Pertama kepada
Peraturan-Peraturan Cap Dagangan 2019 [P.U. (A) 373/2019] diketepikan pada
Hari Harta Intelek Negara atau Hari Bertemu/Bersama Pelanggan.

Penepian di bawah subperaturan (1) hendaklah terpakai bagi mana-mana individu, perkongsian, persatuan, pertubuhan perbadanan atau institusi jika permintaan untuk pendapat dan carian awal dibuat dalam borang sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Pendaftar dan difailkan mengikut arahan Pendaftar.

Bagi maksud peraturan ini—
“Hari Bertemu/Bersama Pelanggan” ertinya suatu program kesedaran yang dianjurkan oleh
Perbadanan
Harta
Intelek
Malaysia pada tarikh sebagaimana yang disiarkan dalam Jurnal Rasmi Harta Intelek; dan
“Hari Harta Intelek Negara” ertinya hari harta intelek negara termasuk apa-apa program atau aktiviti yang dijalankan semasa sambutan

hari harta intelek negara yang dianjurkan oleh Perbadanan Harta Intelek Malaysia pada tarikh sebagaimana yang disiarkan dalam Jurnal Rasmi Harta Intelek.

TRADEMARKS (WAIVER OF FEE) REGULATIONS 2024

Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 162(2)(f) of the Trademarks Act 2019 [Act 815], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Trademarks (Waiver of Fee)
Regulations 2024.
(1)
The fee imposed to any individual, partnership, association, body corporate or institution under paragraph 1 of the First Schedule to the
Trademarks
Regulations 2019
[P.U.
(A)
373/2019]
is waived on
Hari Harta Intelek Negara or Hari Bertemu/Bersama Pelanggan.
(1)
shall apply to any individual, partnership, association, body corporate or institution if the application for preliminary advice and search is made in the form as determined by the Registrar and filed according to the direction of the Registrar.
(3)
For the purposes of this regulation—
“Hari Bertemu/Bersama Pelanggan” means an awareness programme organized by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia on the date as published in the Intellectual Property Official Journal; and
“Hari Harta Intelek Negara” means national intellectual property day including any programme or activity conducted during the national intellectual property day celebration organized by the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia on the date as published in the Intellectual Property Official Journal.
