- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 11(2) Akta Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (Perbadanan) 1980 [Akta 231], Lembaga, dengan kelulusan Menteri, membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan
Lembaga Lebuh Raya Malaysia (Jarak Undur Lebuh Raya) (Pindaan) 2012.
(2)
Peraturan-Peraturan ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 26 Januari 2012.

007 [P.U.(A) 339/2007], yang disebut “Peraturan-Peraturan ibu” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam peraturan 2—
(a)
dengan memasukkan selepas subperaturan (1) subperaturan yang berikut:
“(1A) Walau apa pun subperaturan (1), jika terdapat suatu tiang struktur kerangka portal, suatu jarak selebar 10 meter dari tepi bahagian terluar struktur itu ke tepi rezab bagi lebuh raya di kedua-dua belah bahagian tepi laluan utama lebuh raya itu hendaklah diadakan sebagai jarak undur lebuh raya bagi bahagian lebuh raya yang terlibat.”;
(ii)
dengan menggantikan perkataan “dalam subperaturan (1)” dengan perkataan “dalam subperaturan (1) dan (1A)”.

REGULATIONS 2012
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 11(2) of the Highway Authority Malaysia (Incorporation) Act 1980 [Act 231], the Authority, with the approval of the Minister, makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Highway Authority Malaysia (Set
Backs of Highway) (Amendment) Regulations 2012.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 26 January 2012.
Amendment of regulation 2 2.
The Highway Authority Malaysia (Set Backs of Highway) Regulations 2007
[P.U. (A) 339/2007], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these
Regulations, are amended in regulation 2—
(a)
by inserting after subregulation (1) the following subregulation:
“(1A) Notwithstanding subregulation (1), where a portal frame column structure exists, a distance of 10 metres from the edge of the outer structure section to the edge of the highway reserve on both sides of the highway mainline shall be provided as set back of the highways for the highway portion involved.”
(b)
in subregulation (2), by substituting for the words “subregulation (1)” the words “subregulations (1) and (1A)”; and

(i)
by substituting for the words “Notwithstanding subregulation (1)”
the words “Notwithstanding subregulations (1) and (1A)”; and
(ii)
by substituting for the words “in subregulation (1)” the words “in subregulations (1) and (1A)”.
