Tertakluk kepada subperaturan (2), fi yang ditetapkan dalam butiran 3(a)(i) Jadual kepada Peraturan-Peraturan Pembangunan Kemahiran

Kebangsaan (Fi dan Caj) 2006 [P.U. (A) 409/2006] diketepikan berkenaan dengan seseorang pelatih yang memohon Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia melalui pusat bertauliah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual.

NATIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACT 2006

NATIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (WAIVER OF FEE TO TRAINEE AT

ACCREDITED CENTRE) REGULATIONS 2013

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 72(2)(d) of the National Skills

Development Act 2006 [Act 652], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation 1.

These regulations may be cited as the National Skills Development (Waiver of Fee to Trainee at Accredited Centre) Regulations 2013.

Waiver of fee 2.

(1)

Subject to subregulation (2), the fee as prescribed in item 3(a)(i) of the

Schedule to the National Skills Development (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2006

[P.U. (A) 409/2006] is waived in respect of a trainee who applies for the Malaysian Skills

Certificate through the accredited centre as specified in column (1) of the Schedule.

(2)

The waiver of fee under subregulation (1) is applicable for the Malaysian

Skills Certificate in relation to skills training which has commenced or commences on any date within the period of three years as specified in column (2) of the Schedule.

Refund of fee 3.

(1)

The trainee referred to in regulation 2 who has paid the fee as prescribed in item 3(a)(i) of the Schedule to the National Skills Development (Fees and Charges)

Regulations 2006 may apply to the Director General for a refund of the fee.

(2)

Upon receipt of the application under subregulation (1), the Director

General shall, after verification, refund the fee paid by the trainee.
