CIVIL AVIATION (EXEMPTION) REGULATIONS 2026
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 3(2)(p) of the Civil Aviation Act 1969 [Act 3], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Exemption)
Regulations 2026.

Regulations are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2025.
Exemption 2.
The Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad is exempted from the payment of the fees and charges specified in subsubbitem 107(a)(iii) of the Schedule to the Civil Aviation
(Fees and Charges) Regulations 2016 [P.U. (A) 99/2016] in relation to the application for certificate of aerodrome for take-off and landing of an aircraft engaged in the carriage of passengers, mail or cargo for commercial air transport for STOLport operated by it.
