MALAYSIA berhubung dengan subkepala FARES AND RATES TO BE CHARGED—

(a)

dengan menggantikan butiran 12 dengan butiran yang berikut:

“12. The fares to be charged for a taxi cab shall be at the rates as follows:

(a)

Taxi cab budget service

Rate

In relation to Penang Island:

for the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM4.00

for every additional 200

metres or part thereof 30 sen

In relation to all other states:

for the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM3.00

for every additional 200

metres or part thereof 25 sen

In relation to Penang Island:

for the first 3 minutes or part thereof that the taxi is detained not more than RM4.00

for every additional 36

seconds or part thereof thereafter 30 sen

In relation to all other states:

for the first 3 minutes or part thereof that the taxi is detained not more than RM3.00

for every additional 36

seconds or part thereof thereafter 25 sen

(b)

Taxi cab premier service

Rate

For the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM4.00

For every additional 150

metres or part thereof not more than 20 sen

For the first 2 minutes or part thereof that the taxi is detained not more than RM4.00

For every additional 45

seconds or part thereof thereafter not more than 20 sen

For the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM6.00

For every additional 100

metres or part thereof not more than 20 sen

For the first 2 minutes or part thereof that the taxi is detained not more than RM6.00

In relation to Penang Island:

for the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM4.00

for every additional 200

metres or part thereof 35 sen

In relation to all other states:

for the first kilometre or part thereof not more than RM4.00

for every additional 200

metres or part thereof 30 sen

In relation to Penang Island:

for the first 3 minutes or part thereof that the taxi is detained not more than RM4.00

an additional 50% of the rates specified hereto

(g)

Hand luggage free of charge

(h)

For every hire involving the payment of a toll charge the appropriate toll charge

(i)

For every hire arranged through telephone an additional RM2.00 for the whole journey

(j)

For carrying passengers to Bayan

Lepas International Airport an additional RM7.00 for the whole journey

(k)

For carrying passengers to Sultan

Ismail Airport, Senai an additional RM12.00

for the whole journey

(l)

For every hire arranged through taxi counter and additional RM2.00

for the whole journey”;

(b)

dengan menggantikan butiran 13 dengan butiran yang berikut:

“13.

The fares to be charged for a hire car shall be at the rates as follows:

Rate

(a)

For a non air-conditioned hire car, for every kilometre or part thereof not more than RM1.00

and an additional fare of

RM2.00 per hire car

For an air-conditioned hire car, for every kilometre or part thereof not more than RM1.25

and an additional fare of

RM2.00 per hire car

(c)

From 12 midnight to 6.00 a.m.

an additional 50% of the rates specified hereto

(Mileage to be calculated from the place from where the vehicle is hired to the place where the hirer ceases to use the vehicle. The total fares to be charged will be rounded up to the nearest 10 sen for the total mileage calculated)

(d)

For every hire involving the payment of a toll charge the appropriate toll charge

(e)

For every hire arranged through the telephone an additional RM2.00 for the whole journey

(f)

For carrying passengers to Kuala

Lumpur

International

Airport,

Sepang (KLIA) and Kuala Lumpur

International Airport 2 (KLIA2)

an additional RM12.00

for the whole journey

(g)

For carrying passengers to Bayan

Lepas International Airport an additional RM7.00 for the whole journey

(The fares to be charged for less than 4 passengers per hire car shall be calculated based on fares to be charged for 4 passengers per hire car)”; dan

dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 21 butiran yang berikut:

“22. The fares to be charged for a taxi cab which is licensed and authorised to operate from the authorised terminal in Johor Bahru to the authorised terminal in Singapore shall not exceed RM80.00 per taxi cab.”.
