Section 18A
Seksyen 18A
(1)
Where a deposit-taking activity is undertaken by an agent on behalf of a deposit-taking member, the deposit-taking member shall ensure that its agents—
(a)
comply with the requirements of regulation 3, paragraph 9(1)(a) and regulation 18, and the other requirements of these Regulations as may be specified by the Corporation; and
(b)
make adequate and accurate disclosure that he is an agent of the deposit-taking member and the deposit-taking member shall ensure that the agents do not represent themselves, whether directly or indirectly, as a member of the Corporation.
(2)
A deposit-taking member may make available copies of the Deposit
Insurance System Brochure and the list of insured deposits to its agents to display at their place of business and website.
