Section 6A
of PERATURAN-PERATURAN PERIHAL DAGANGAN (HARGA JUALAN MURAH) (PINDAAN) 2016
Seksyen 6A
(1)
For the purposes of the sales at the cheap sale price under regulation 5, the minimum percentage for the reduction of price for the goods supplied or offered to be supplied shall not be less than ten percent of the price at which the goods were previously supplied or offered to be supplied by him as required to be indicated under paragraph 8(1)(a).
(2)
Any person who contravenes subregulation (1)
commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a)
if such person is a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit, and for a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit; or
(b)
if such person is not a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years, and for a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.”.

Amendment of regulation 7 4.
Regulation 7 of the principal Regulations is amended—
(a)
in the marginal note, by substituting for the word "seventy" the word
"fifty"; and
(b)
in subregulation (1), by substituting for the word "seventy" the word
"fifty".
Amendment of regulation 8 5.
Subregulation 8(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the word "six" the word "three".
Amendment of regulation 9 6.
Regulation 9 of the principal Regulations is amended—
(a)
in subregulation (1), by substituting for the word "six" the word "three";
and
(b)
in subregulation (2), by substituting for the word "six" the word "three".
