Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsections 3(1) and 4(1), and sections 6A and 11 of the International Organizations (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1992 [Act 485], the Minister, with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, makes the following regulations: Citation 1. These regulations may be cited as the United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) (Amendment) Regulations 2013. Amendment of regulation 2 2. The United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Regulations 2012 [P.U. (A) 279/2012], are amended in regulation 2 by substituting for the definition of “official” the following definition: ‘ “official” means an officer of the United Nations, other than an officer who is recruited locally and assigned to hourly rates.’.
