“dua puluh satu tahun” dengan perkataan “lapan belas tahun”.

ELECTIONS (CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS) (AMENDMENT)

REGULATIONS 2021

IN exercise of powers conferred by section 16 of the Elections Act 1958 [Act 19], the Election Commission, with the approval of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Elections (Conduct of Elections)

(Amendment) Regulations 2021.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 15 December 2021.

Amendment of regulation 19 2.

The Elections (Conduct of Elections) Regulations 1981 [P.U (A) 386/1981], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in subregulation 19(10), by substituting for the words “twenty-one years” the words

“eighteen years”.

Amendment of First Schedule 3.

The First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended in FORM 10 by substituting for the words “twenty-one years” the words “eighteen years”.
