Seksyen 6
Regulation 9 of the principal Regulations is amended in the marginal note by substituting for the words “Calibration of Malaysian Primary Standards and other standards” with the words “Calibration of National Measurement Standards.”.
Amendment of regulation 11 7.
Regulation 11 of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for subregulation (1) the following subregulation:
“(1) The Custodian may, subject to such conditions the Custodian may impose from time to time, approve weighing and measuring instruments of any patterns or specifications and may issue a certificate of approval, as prescribed in the Schedule, for a period not more than ten years;”.

The National Measurement Standards and
Working Standards referred to in subregulation (1)
shall be accurate and consistent.”.

Amendment of Schedule 8.
The principal Regulations are amended in the Note to the Schedule by substituting for paragraph 2 the following paragraph:
“2. This approval shall be valid for a period of ................. year.”
