ACCOUNTANTS ACT 1967

ACCOUNTANTS (AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE) ORDER 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 14(7) of the Accountants Act 1967

[Act 94], the Minister, after seeking the advice of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, makes the following order:

Citation 1.

This order may be cited as the Accountants (Amendment of First Schedule)

Order 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The First Schedule to the Act is amended in Part I—

(a)

by substituting for the full stop at the end of paragraph (t) a semicolon;

and

(b)

by inserting after paragraph (t) the following paragraph:

“(u)

the final examination of the Management and Science University for the Degree of Bachelor in Accountancy (Honours), the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session November 2010 onwards.”.
