(Pindaan Jadual Pertama) 2024.

Jadual Pertama kepada Akta dipinda dalam Bahagian I—

(a)

dengan menggantikan noktah di hujung perenggan (u) dengan koma bernoktah; dan

(b)

dengan memasukkan selepas perenggan (u) perenggan yang berikut:

“(v)

the final examination of the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for the Degree of Bachelor of Accounting with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;

(w)

the final examination of the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris for the Degree of Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;

(x)

the final examination of the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak for the Degree of Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;

ACCOUNTANTS ACT 1967

ACCOUNTANTS (AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE) ORDER 2024

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 14(7) of the Accountants Act 1967

[Act 94], the Minister, after seeking the advice of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, makes the following order:

Citation 1.

This order may be cited as the Accountants (Amendment of First Schedule)

Order 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The First Schedule to the Act is amended in Part I—

(a)

by substituting for the full stop at the end of paragraph (u) a semicolon;

and

(b)

by inserting after paragraph (u) the following paragraphs:

“(v)

the final examination of the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia for the Degree of Bachelor of Accounting with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;

(w)

the final examination of the Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris for the Degree of Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;

(x)

the final examination of the Universiti Malaysia Sarawak for the Degree of Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours, the academic programme for which first commenced with the academic session March 2023 onwards;
