ENTERTAINMENTS DUTY ACT 1953

ENTERTAINMENTS DUTY (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2023

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 12(1)(b)

of the

Entertainments Duty Act 1953 [Act 103], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Entertainments Duty (Exemption)

Order 2023.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 1 August 2022.

Exemption 2.

The admission ticket for the screening of the movies with the title specified in the Schedule which were screened at the Dadi Cinema in the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur within the period from 1 August 2022 until 31 December 2022

are exempted from entertainments duty.
